• Analyze and debate issues relevant to the organization's development, particularly concerning market trends;
• Evaluate new ideas for activities or services, and some of its members can integrate or constitute juries or commissions for analysis and selection of ideas and support other SEAPOWER management bodies;
• Identify innovation, business, or funding opportunities;
• Contribute to the approach to potential customers, partners, or other players in the value chain;
• Recommend actions or initiatives.
The opportunities for the Centro Region and Portugal in the development of the economy of the sea lead the prestigious national and international members of the Advisory Board, which I chair, to contribute to the affirmation of SEAPOWER as an associative structure that accelerates the transfer of knowledge from the University of Coimbra and other national and international research institutions to the business sector.
